Purchased the Tru Red hanging file folders as a comparison and the quality was as good as the name brand and cost less. Would have given 5 stars but the box the came in is smaller than it should be so the files warp a little. I laid them out and placed a book on them and they are now fine.
These folders are perfect for the hanging file system. They hold a significant amount of paper without buckling. I have bought 100 of them for a history research product and have used 75 already. I'll probably run out in the next week or so and I'll definitely buy more when I need them.

I use these folders to organize personal files. And I personally think I got my money's worth. It comes with tabs so you get to label each folder. And it's roomy enough for personal files - maybe for about 50 or so sheets inside. But if you're gonna do serious filing (hundreds of papers in one folder you might want to check out expanding hanging folders or divide the pile to put in several folders. I don't mind that they don't come in different colors because I respond more to the labels or tabs. But for those who like to keep their files in certain palettes get the multi-colored ones.
