Once you try them, you will love the fact that they are fast drying. This means no smudges!! Who doesn't love that? I would highly recommend purchasing these pens. Plus, with all the back to school supply sales going on, you can get them at an even better price than normal! Don't worry though, they are not priced to break your bank at any time. Quality pens and at a good price. Who could ask for more?

Bic Gel-ocity Pens--Hype or Hope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I received these pens #FreeSample in exchange for review. However, these are my honest thoughts... The pens claim to be super fast drying with less smearing than regular gel pens. They also are said to be smooth with a comfortable grip. I found all of this to be true. The drying time is quite quick. On regular paper, I didn't experience any smearing. However, I did get smearing on slicker surfaces like magazine covers. The flow of ink to paper was indeed smooth. Just remember to take off the plastic covering on the ball-point or the pen will not write! All in all, I liked the pens. Their colors--pink, turquoise and purple were nice and vibrant. Using them for coloring seems like it would be very time consuming, though. The ball point is very small and it takes a long time to color things in. Admittedly, I'm not into coloring, so I'm not sure if this is truly a problem for enthusiasts... Giving these 4.5 stars!

My teenage is in love with them and has requested more for his upcoming freshman year. I have actually used them for labeling in my classroom, although I do have to hide them from my coworkers.
