I've gone through several of these pens, and I thoroughly enjoy them. The only thing is... I can't find refills for specific colored pens. I've tried using different kinds of ink cartridges but they don't end up fitting. I've tried reading the label on the ink cartridges but they don't seem to follow any kind of pattern. Don't get me wrong, I love these pens, but if they're not refillable I might have to consider a different brand.
I really like the pens, my only issue is the ball is always dry at somewhere so it messes up the flow of ink. I've bought 2 sets of these and it was a common issue with a few of the colors.
I have tried multiple gel pens and these are by far superior. The smooth writing is so nice, while others get spotty these have stayed perfect. I've owned them for about a month or 2 and every pen still works perfect, I use them daily. They aren't the most comfortable but definitely the best writing out of the 5-6 brands I have.
The pen works. It writes. It is a solid line of ink. It is NOT smear free. They lied clear as day. Took me one try to find that their guarantee means nothing.
I have been using these pens now for a few years. I absolutely the way they right and the colors they offer (except green, which is too light, so I get the competitive brand). My biggest problem is that if I have removed the little ball and use the pen, then stop using the pen for a while (summer break, for example), then when I am ready to use it again, they are all blocked up. I end up throwing them away because I can never get them to work again, despite being full of ink. Other pens do this too, but these seem to jam up much sooner. I've thrown away 3 Gelocity pens in the past month and now have 3 more that I can't get to work. Do you have any suggestions? I've tried hot water and even sucking on the tip (although I fear a mouthful of ink). I'm trying to plan out my fall calendar with all the family's activities and these are letting me down. I'm ready to leave them for another brand but thought I'd see what others suggest first.
I bought this pen because it says it drys 3x faster then a normal pen. I always get ink on the side of my hand when I write. It doesn’t dry any faster then a plain old normal pen. This pen always skips when I write with it. It’s very frustrating! I actually ended up throwing the pens out. I do not recommend this pen at all.
