[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my free sample of Gel-ocity from Smiley 360. I am excited to so I LOVE THEM. Some pens say they are smooth writing and then I use them and it's like nails on a chalk board. These really are smooth and the colors are so vibrant. I am not sure many teachers I had in high school would have liked homework turned in with these colors but for everyday use aside school work I am totally in love.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received these bic gelosity gel pens for free to review from smiley360 I love them for writing they do dry fast but I don't really think fast enough for coloring. And they were kind of blotchy when I colored with them. But they are nice pens for writing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love ink pens! I pick them up wherever they are being given out for free and the first thing I do is sign my name to get a feel for how the pen writes. Imagine my delight when Smiley 360 had a mission to test drive the new Bic Gel-ocity ink pens and I qualified for the mission!! I ripped open my mailer envelope containing the treasure of ink pens and they did not disappoint. The ink flowed smoothly from the ink pen in gorgeous vibrant colors across the paper. I signed my name and scribbled fun little messages using each of the 3 colors. Each more delightful than the last. The ink didn't skip on the paper and it dried almost instantly so no smearing. As much as I love color- I hope these pens come in black for the everyday check writing, note writing, and list making.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a free sample of BIC Gel-ocity Quick Dry pens from Smiley360. I was so excited to try them but was also skeptical, as I am very picky with my pens and exclusively favored the Pilot G-2. As soon as the pens arrived I was instantly pleased with the attractive colors they came in- turquoise, hot pink, and dark purple. When I began to write with the pen I was actually impressed with how easily the pen glided across the paper. I did not need to press much at all yet the pen wrote smoothly with a nice rich ink tone, and with good precision, even though it is a medium point. The pen also felt comfortable to hold in my hand, with a rubbery grip that was smooth and not sticky, and the retractor was easy to manipulate. I was able to quickly attach the pen to my notebook by its clip in one simple movement for convenient storage and quick access. I did not care for the overall design of the pen, with its thicker barrel and it's whimsical art design, but that is just my own personal preference for a more streamlined, professional-looking pen, but it's not a deal breaker. And just as the pen advertises, the ink dries quickly, but don't mistake it for a permanent marker. This pen will smear on certain glossy paper surfaces, as I discovered when writing on the enclosed paper that Bic sent with the sample kit, but that is understandable. The Pilot G-2 also smeared on that type of surface. These pens are perfect for my summertime guilty pleasure, which is lounging outside on the patio or at the beach doing crossword puzzles. The ink writes smoothly and the color stands out against the black and white newspaper print, making for an even more enjoyable leisure experience. When looking online I saw that the BIC Gel-ocity Quick Dry pens come in multicolor packs, just like the Pilot Pens do, but I actually find that the BIC Gel-ocity colors are more appealing- but I do wish the multicolor packs also included one or two black gel pens as well. I think adding the black pens would make the multicolor packs more functional for people of all ages and for a wider variety of purposes. I also noticed that the BIC Gel-ocity pens were slightly more expensive than the Pilot G-2s so I was disappointed in that, but it's probably just because they are new with the improved quick-dry feature, and BIC did supply me with coupons so that makes purchasing their brand a better value for now. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the BIC Gel-ocity Quick Dry gel pens fared with my favorite pen, the Pilot G-2. Even though I do not care for the BIC pen's appearance, it's functionality and precision are comparable, yet the way the ink flows and leaves a rich bold color with the slightest stroke beats out the competition in my opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are awesome. Vibrant colors that don't smear because they dry almost instantly. Easy grip makes it so comfortable to hold for long periods. Will never use colored pencils again for my adult coloring book fine line pictures again.
