Just remove the old broken spine and put the new one in place. Saves a lot of money because you don't have to replace the whole binder just the spine.

Great product for binding proposals

Excellent item. I use these all the time to bind project proposals that I hand over to clients. It gives a nice professional finish look without a huge cost. The covers don't bend or crease they really are crystal clear as advertised. The also don't scratch easily so its good for my business since I am in the construction industry. I can leave the binded copies in my car with tools and on my job sites and they still hold up great. Only downside is that they corners are sharp and pointed they should be slightly curved so they don't hurt when u accidentally poke yourself with it.

We use these combs to bind reports for clients as well as other important documents. They hold the amount of sheets stated. Durability and appearance are important to us and these binding combs meet those requirements.

These comb binding spines were exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint (and it's very minimal) was that the box is hard to store them in and get them in and out. Overall great product though. :)

We love to have the Preschool and Kindergarten students make books of their own creation and binding them makes them extra special. We also bind some of our publications for the school. We work on a very tight budget so we're always looking for the best bang for our buck. These Staples brand plastic binding combs do fit the bill. The quality seems just as good as a name brand for a much better price. They come in various sizes but we use mostly the 1/4" diameter size which handles at least 20 pages easily.
