We used these to bind our Year End/Graduation books. Once you get a few done it is really easy and they look great. They can be cut down to a smaller size. It does not hold nearly as many pages as stated (at least it is MUCH harder to do that many pages) so buy a bigger size than you think you need.

Although I couldn't find white the black showed the book off better and I got a lot of compliments because of the binding.

I am a teacher and am always looking for good quality for a good price. I don't see any difference between the Staples brand bindery supplies and the "name brands" other than the higher prices. I love using these to bind class books as keepsakes. I also use cereal boxes to create a quick notebook for any subject. The kids love them!
