Not like a bag of Twinings

I tried many of the teas and find the K-cup technique lacking and just does not compare with pouring boiling water over tea (I mostly use bags to stop my wife from complaining about the mess). The tea does not have the complexity of balance of Twinings bags. If you are satisfied in a diner with small pot of hot water and a basket of tea bags you will like this product. But if you preheat the pot and enjoy sitting down with a good cup of tea stick with what you are using.
I spent a LOT of time looking for a "regular tea" for my brewer. I'm not a connoisseur - just a tea fan. If anyone is looking for a good black tea that tastes like what you'd get from a regular teabag, this is it, only about 100 times better. Totally smooth, goes perfectly with sugar and/or milk. I know a lot of people don't like the flavor profile associated with Earl Grey (myself included), and don't want a green or an herbal tea. If you're looking for a good standard black tea, this is the best there is.
Being British, I consume ridiculous amounts of tea. My personal taste is along the traditional line, I'm not as fond of all of the herbal flavors. This tea is probably the closest to a regular British Breakfast Tea served from a proper teapot but it is a tad on the weak side. A modicum of richness added to this tea would transport me back home with every sip. It would then be typical and it would be perfect. HOWEVER, it is the best K-Cup tea there is. Most of the other offerings Keurig have seem to be no more than water with a hint of coloring. :(
I originally purchased Twining's English Breakfast Tea as an alternative to coffee, particularly during winter months. I am an iced tea lover and drink iced tea year round. I am also diabetic, but my iced tea must be sweet. Twining's English Breakfast Tea is also great as a brewed over ice tea. Just fill a 16 ounce tumbler with ice, add sweetener to taste, and brew using the 6 ounce setting. For me, Twining's English Breakfast Tea is the best brewed over iced tea using K-cups, bar none.
Upon re-ordering my K-Cups, I accidentally ordered this brand. I really enjoy most of their other teas. I was incredibly disappointed. No amount of cream or sugar could relax this tea. It was extremely bitter and had an unpleasant aftertaste. I had a hard time getting through the box. Now that it is time to reorder, I will not make this mistake again.
