This is a very nice tea. I usually drink a cup of coffee in the morning and then a cup of this tea around mid-afternoon. It's very soothing and it's great for a midday pick-me-up.

A Distant Second...

Twinings English Breakfast Tea got on my radar because I was having a hard time finding the Celestial Seasonings version at my local grocery store. I should have kept looking... Twinings leaves a lot to be desired. It is truly a distant second to its Celestial Seasonings counterpart. I find that Twinings has a bitter aftertaste that exists with every sip. Although it smells great once it is brewed, I find it considerably weak upon cosumption. You definitely do not have to worry about this tea keeping you up at night. Each cup left me feeling extremely relaxed; however, I would not recommend you drinking this if you are looking for that caffeine rush. I am not sure how much caffeine is in a cup, but it must not be much. You will not feel energetic after having a cup. Although, I would ultimately recommend this tea to an occasional tea drinker, like myself, I would strongly suggest checking out the Celestial Seasonings version first.
Pros: Soothing, Relaxing
Cons: WEAK, Bitter
I would recommend this to a friend!

From the UK and drink tea all the time, this is the closest tea I have found to our good old PG (which I still buy, but costs a small fortune!) So convenient in the K cup, just add milk and a little sugar, its perfect! not bitter tasting at all, and not too strong..just right! love it!
Pros: Soothing, High Quality, Convenient, Fresh, Smooth Body
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Good Cup of Tea

I grew up drinking tea with my mom. She has always been a bit of a tea nut. I still prefer a cup of steeped tea with loose leaves, but my hectic schedule and the fact that this is ready to go in the morning works. Twinings is a great brand for tea bags and is decent for the K-Cups. I think I'd probably be happier with the Earl Grey considering that is my favorite tea. English Breakfast is always a safe calm flavor though. You don't have to be in a "mood" for English Breakfast like you do a stronger tea like Earl Grey.
