Close to the real thing

If you've been looking for a decaf "dark roast" but have found them to taste more like a regular roast in reality, this one shouldn't let you down. It's close in flavor to the Barista Italian Roast.

very strong coffee

Nobody in my family likes this roast. Even my mother, who drinks a lot of coffee did not care for it. Even when you brew it with 12 oz of water, it still taste very strong. If you do not long for a robust strong cup of coffee I would steer clear of this coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rich Robust and Smooth

This is a rich robust coffee without any of the bitterness you may expect from a dark roast coffee. We love both the caffienated and decaf versions. We had to go to decaf mostly and it was hard to find a decent decaf... this one beats them all.

Absolutely the best dark roast decaf, and I have tried many! You wouldn't even think it's decaf, very robust, with excellent flavor!
