At first I was afraid it would be too strong for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. it had a terrific taste, no bitterness at all. I only wish I would have had more. I only had a sample pack and this was in it. I will definitely be buying some!!
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Not Bitter
Very tastey, I couldn't drink this every day because it is a bit bold for me but makes for a great special coffee day! I enjoyed a free sample from Green Mountain and I was hooked! Highly recommend all of their fair trade coffees!
Really disappointed in this one. Wondering if I got a bad batch. So many people seem to like it but I found this one terribly bitter. And generally speaking, I like a strong, dark, bold coffee. Can't even doctor it up with more more cream and sugar to make it palatable. It's terrible. My 13. yr. old daughter likes an occasional cup of coffee and she also prefers it strong and bold and she has the same thoughts as me about it. In a word, bitter. I really wanted to like it, but I just can't.
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Flavor, Bitter, Unpleasant Aftertaste
I have sampled most brands of coffee in the US and Europe. Some are good, others are the poster-child for horrible. On a world-class level, the Sumatran from Green Mountain is by far the best that I have tasted from a home brewing machine. The K-Cup system is revolutionary for a coffee brewing method and will most definitely change the way we brew our cup of joe. BRAVO!
My wife and I both think that this is the very best Green Mountain regular coffee. If we need a real jolt in the morning, we just make a small one cupper. Later in the day we can get two cups from one K-Cup by running it through twice. Dont forget to turn the K-Cup 180 degrees for the second cup. Combine both cups for a great TWO cups of coffee.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste, One Great Bold Coffee, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter
