Too much acid for organic coffee
on August 18, 2014

I have ordered Timothy brand organic coffee, I guess it has been discontinued. I order four boxes of Sumatran Reserve and need to return three. Too much acid, gives me severe heartburn. From my research, organic coffee is low in acid.
Pros: None
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All-time Favorite

This is by far my all-time favorite K-cup. It is a perfect dark roast that has no trace of bitterness. The natural oils in the coffee coat your tongue and make every drop go down as smooth as butter. It doesn't need a drop of creamer or sugar, but if you're looking for a great "dessert coffee", some half-n-half and sugar compliment the coffee very well also.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Smooth Taste, Natural Oils, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Roast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the way it smells and tastes though there is a bit of an aftertaste because it is quite a sharp coffee but that's how I like it. I will definitely get this again and again. yum

Extra Extra Bold should be on the label

WOW pretty much sums it up. Now I am a person who likes a nice stiff cup of coffee from time to time BUT this one is about the bitterest coffee I have ever drank. I thought it was going to put hair on my chest!!! It is too woodsy and bitter for my palate. Even sugar and cream could not tame it.
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have tried all the unflavored dark roasts and this one is the best...I gave up and just order this...the Starbucks Sumatra is as good but why pay more? I like it strong, not watery and I use cream. I have 2 cups every day; seems like the the quality has not changed to me.
Pros: Smooth Taste
I would recommend this to a friend!

Didn't this used to be stronger?

Somehow, maybe incorrectly, I remember "Extra Bold" having meant a bit more coffee (0.48 oz versus 0.40 oz) than the usual... It appears that this particular product has dropped back to the non-bold, "regular" amount of coffee... why is it listed as "Extra Bold"? Is there a different product that really is extra bold?
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Not Enough Flavor
I would recommend this to a friend!
