WOW pretty much sums it up. Now I am a person who likes a nice stiff cup of coffee from time to time BUT this one is about the bitterest coffee I have ever drank. I thought it was going to put hair on my chest!!! It is too woodsy and bitter for my palate. Even sugar and cream could not tame it.
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

bad experience

Unfortunately, we purchased two 48-packages of Green Mountain decaf and one of the packages was bad, really bad. Hard to explain, but in every instance the pod, when finished brewing was all grounds, which leaked out and what didn't leak out was left in the cup. The whole package of 48! That made us not want to buy any more.
I can send you what I have left and didn't open if that would help you figure out what happened.
Here's the photo.
~Respectfully,
Patricia - Lansing, Michigan

The Scotch Whiskeys of Coffee
on January 12, 2012

It was once said that the proper analogy for this great origin is Scotch whiskeys and their peaty, slightly fruity, smoky complexity, not wines. Save the wine analogy for Costa Ricas or Kenya's. Nothing really more to say other then not all coffees work well with this system..
Cons: Unappealing Or Flat Aroma, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light, Not Enough Flavor
Bitter taste - very disappointing. Stick to Starbucks

Having seen the perfect 5.0 rating, I was very excited to receive my order. This coffee made me sick.....literally. Very, very strong, and I love strong coffees. Be warned if you have health issues. It made the room spin, and scared me so badly, I returned 2 free boxes I had received.
Pros: Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma
