I have LOVED (the previous) Sumatran Reserve. But within the last month Green Mountain just entirely changed the brew, lightened the label, and call it not Single Origin Sumatran Reserve. It tastes NOTHING like the previous one. When you see this lighter color lable, stay away. So very sad that they killed an amazing coffee flavor. They did the same thing to Paul Newman's Bold about 5 years ago, totally changed the recipe/brew. So sad.

I have been drinking this coffee for four years now. My last box of Sumatra that I bought is undrinkable if you like dark roast. It has moved from dark roast to medium roast. The coffee is weak and tastes like it is watered down. Waste of money because I will not be drinking this coffee anymore and the box I have will be thrown out because no one in my household likes light or medium roast....

We have tried every dark coffee here. Dark magic comes close but we got sick of it every day. We have never got tired of Sumatra reserve for at least 2.5 years now... I make the middle 6 oz cup. if I want more I just use 2 cups not to weaken ..... life is too short!. The coffee tastes great, like brewed. It's not burnt like starbucks but a rich nutty taste.. smells good too!.. try it.

This coffee used to be my favorite: dark and bold and it is organic. Now it is watery, weak and tasteless. Please return my favorite coffee to the way it was before.
Pros: Not Bitter, It's organic
Cons: Unpleasant Flavor, Roasted Too Light, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor

I've been using this coffee for about a year and wouldn't change. I have it auto shipped so I don't run out. Highly recommend.

This is our favorite coffee but have been getting really bad batches from time to time and have thrown them in the garbage, stopped ordering it. Has anyone else had this issue?

Bring back SUMATRA. Reject sumatran the pretender

Verified Purchase:No
SUMATRA NOT sumatran was my favorite. It WAS rich, creamy with an intensive engaging flavor that filled your mouth and lingered. this new blend is NOT the same. It lacks complexity and is NOT worth the water to brew it. Green Mountain/Keurig tried to TRICK us into believing it was still sumatra. Bad move on all fronts. I reject this pretender. BRING BACK SUMATRA.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: WEAK, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light, Not Enough Flavor, Pretender, Unpleasant Flavor, Unappealing Or Flat Aroma
