Good pens, but not good gel pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these pens a 3/5 because they don’t work as well as I would want a gel pen to work. Some of the colors work better than others, but they don’t have the best gel consistency.

Not the smooth experience I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a self-proclaimed pen enthusiast, I was thrilled to receive the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens in this Influenster campaign. I'm a big fan of the InkJoy line and have always appreciated their smooth writing experience. However, this particular set left me incredibly disappointed.
Right out of the package, I noticed the pens barely wrote. I had to scribble and "scratch" on paper for what felt like an eternity just to get the ink flowing. Even after this lengthy priming process, the pens still didn't deliver the smooth, glide-like writing I've come to expect from InkJoy. Instead, they felt scratchy and inconsistent.
I'm truly hoping I just received a defective pack because the InkJoy pens I've used in the past have been fantastic. It's disheartening to experience such a stark difference in quality. I'm not sure if this is a widespread issue or just a fluke, but I'm definitely hesitant to purchase this particular set again.

Pens with a flair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils can with a variety of colors. I loved the variety of colors. When first using the pens the ink didn’t have a flow but once the pen was used it flowed. The pens had a thicker bottom so if you have smaller hands it might not be as comfortable write with. Overall, I enjoy using the pens and will definitely seek out this brand again.😊

Nice colors!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are thick! They're easy to hold, but a little heavy. Medium point makes a pretty thick line. I used several to grade papers and found the rollerballs skip leaving a dotted line rather than a smooth line.

Vibrant colors

The gel ink flows smoothly, and makes writing a breeze, and the vibrant colors make my notes and documents pop. The pen strikes a perfect balance between fine and bold, while making crisp lines without any smudging. They are also incredibly comfortable to hold, even during long writing sessions. Whether for school, work, or personal use, these pens are both reliable and stylish.
