Finally a fine restaurant coffee at home

This is the first time I've felt strongly enough about a coffee to review... Where has this coffee been all my life? 1 restaurant years ago had a great Italian Roast that I've never seen since. This is close. Like it in 8oz (down) to expresso strength. Goes with about everything from breakfast to dinner to late night (I'm a nighthawk), or just a middle of the day picker-upper. I imagine it would be a bit strong for just before bedtime...lol. Love the smokey smooth but flavorful finish (not burned like many dark roasts). 1st product we went out and bought way ahead to have on hand... enough said?
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Smoky smooth finish

great morning wake me up flavor and aroma, perfect in everyway except its a bit more expensive.

I received this K cup in a sample pack with my new brewer. I am not a huge fan of dark roasts, but I sometimes will like them, as long as they are not too bitter. Unfortunately, this one was not in that catagory. I found it very unpleasant and I could not finish the cup I brewed. That said, it did smell fabulous when brewed, but it was just too strong and bitter for me to enjoy it.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste

Love Love Love this coffee! I have a cup verey nite when I get home and sometimes one before bed.It doesnt keep me up and the flavor is rich and dark. Havent tried the rench roast yet but am planning on it if I can tear myself away from this flavor

Love the taste, the aroma and texture of this Coffee. And could I just say to the ppl who gave a 1 star rating. Don't give it a bad rating if this is the first italian or extra bold dark roasted coffee. It's an unfair rating. The only thing that I would complain about the Barista Prima brands, is they cost a little more than most.

We used to love this variety. Now, it looks as if we'll be either tossing our remaining 1-1/2 boxes or trying to give them away. Our most recent online purchase of it, as well as a smaller box we bought at a major retailer, have bordered on flavorless; what flavor there is,is unpleasant. Something has changed. I spoke with Keurig Customer Service and learned there is no option for us to return even an unopened box. I was promised that my next purchase would reflect a credit for the two unwanted boxes. This did not happen, and I am just too tired of the situation to do anything more than write this review in hopes that someone else will be spared our experience. We love dark, full, flavorful roasts, which this originally had. There also was formerly an espresso Italian blend, but it disappeared from the choices, alas. Our new favorite: Double Black Diamond. We're hoping it stays the same and stays around!
