Yes, Seems temperature sensitive

I used the Keurig system. I have just received a machine so am experimenting. I loved the smell when the mug traveled from the machine to my table. The first sip was sublime. I knew I loved it: it had a slightly charred flavour, but not enough to make me think burned wood. The slightly bitter taste was just enough to wake up the back of my mouth. There was no 'coffee taste', just the impact of the serious dark essence. The next sip gave up the taste of the coffee, the flavour became more mild and I had a visceral reaction (nice caffeine). I noticed though that as the coffee cooled it became less flavourful, and less intense. Near the end, it was simply a black liquid. I recommend this coffee be drunk quickly, it is great hot.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Roast

I drink Barista Prima Italian Roast everyday. It's fantastic! Its rich flavor & aroma are what make it stand out from the rest. I highly recommend this amazing roast to all coffee drinkers who are looking for a new, exciting taste. It's a strong blend so, I would not recommend it if you prefer a lighter tasting coffee.

We used to love this variety. Now, it looks as if we'll be either tossing our remaining 1-1/2 boxes or trying to give them away. Our most recent online purchase of it, as well as a smaller box we bought at a major retailer, have bordered on flavorless; what flavor there is,is unpleasant. Something has changed. I spoke with Keurig Customer Service and learned there is no option for us to return even an unopened box. I was promised that my next purchase would reflect a credit for the two unwanted boxes. This did not happen, and I am just too tired of the situation to do anything more than write this review in hopes that someone else will be spared our experience. We love dark, full, flavorful roasts, which this originally had. There also was formerly an espresso Italian blend, but it disappeared from the choices, alas. Our new favorite: Double Black Diamond. We're hoping it stays the same and stays around!

I received this K cup in a sample pack with my new brewer. I am not a huge fan of dark roasts, but I sometimes will like them, as long as they are not too bitter. Unfortunately, this one was not in that catagory. I found it very unpleasant and I could not finish the cup I brewed. That said, it did smell fabulous when brewed, but it was just too strong and bitter for me to enjoy it.

I am not a heavy bodied coffee lover

Oh my gosh this coffee has flavor. It is just not a flavor I like. I will mention I do not like extreemly bold coffees. Tried this one because it came in my sample pack. Very unlike me, I dumped out over half my cup.... I couldn't even choke it down. Someone who loves bold sharp coffee may completely dissagree with me.

Nasty tasting...like tree bark with mold

This has to be the worst coffee I ever tried. I always try a new flavor and when I could just smell the aroma... it was not pleasant
