I got a 12-pod pack of this instead of the 12-pod variety pack that was advertised with my Keurig machine, and was initially okay with it, but ended up very unimpressed. It smelled great, but it was far too bitter for my tastes.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor, Bitter, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity
I got the Italian Roast Dark Roast Coffee as a free sample. The aroma doesn't fill the room. I had to put my nose to the cup. The aftertaste was the same as the first taste. The flavor was not exceptionally bold but for a medium coffee drinker this is a dark coffee flavor and is strong. I feel this is almost not strong enough and I blame this on the light aroma. A coffee should be smelled first. I had to focus on breathing it in at close distance. Imporove the aroma by making it stronger. The aroma isn't bad it isn't strong enough. Fill my senses. It isn't a bad coffee. Good taste and no bad aftertaste.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity
After a great deal of testing, I found the best... except in recent months the taste has changed to a more lighter, less tasteful version of the original blend. Disappointing as I have to waste time with more taste-testing instead of just enjoying a great cup of coffee.
If you like really bold coffees this is the best Italian roast coffee that puréed offers. The other brand on here is atrocious so if you really like a bold coffee this is good I suggest adding a little bit of cream if you wanted a little wider and brewing it on the medium-size.
