Dark and Smooth

I got a sample of this and found it to be extremely flavorful, smooth, strong, and not bitter at all. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dark, strong coffee for the morning.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste

I like to try different coffees. After ordering this it has been hard to find a coffee that compares in taste. I have passed it around the office and everyone has been converted. When I place a coffee order from work now it is 90% Barista Prima Italian Roast.
Pros: Not Bitter, Smooth Taste, Full body, Good Dark Roast

Great Italian Roast flavor

Regularly brew a French Press of Café Vecchio from Royal Cup Coffee. Love it. Just got the Keurig. This roast is great. Follows the traditional subtle chocolate hints found in Italian roasts. Also a huge fan of Starbucks Café Verona and Italian Roast.
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body

burnt smell when brewing

I could tell when this was brewing that I wasn't going to enjoy it. smelled like electrical fire
Cons: Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste

Due to the expense of K cups I use my Keurig as a "treat" ( Italian Roast, cider, tea, hot chocolate). To help eliminate waste I save the grounds for my compost pile and save the little cups as seed starter cups! This Barista Italian roast is the biggest treat of all--I have not found ANY other coffee is so roasty-flavor and smells soooo great! Once I started with my first box it has spoiled me for any other Italian Roast "impostors". I absolutely love it!!
