Excellent Italian Roast

After spending 3 weeks in Italy the coffee over here just had no flavor so I tried various Italian Roast K-cups. The Barista brand is absolutely the best and is, as other's have said, my go to K-cup. It's dark and flavorful but not bitter or burnt, a really, really good cup of 'Joe'
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste, Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body

I am a long time, over 60 years, coffee nut and currently am on scheduled delivery for this flavor as I deemed it to be similar to my beloved espresso. Until recently I would have given a 4 star rating holding back on 5 only because of the occasionally poor flavored pod. My current shipment seems to be almost all of the lower quality. I'm about 1/3rd of the way through the batch and if the trend continues may rethink future purchases. I hope not as this has been the daily starter since I discovered it. I may have to revert to grinding my own and go back to doing stovetop espresso. Hope not as this has been a great robust smooth flavorful way to start my day.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity
Cons: Not Enough Flavor

Almost like being in Italy!

After spending a couple of months in Italy we had to find a coffee that wasn't week and brought deep flavor to our morning table. We tried various 'Italian Roast' varieties and found Barista Prima to be the best.

This is a bold coffee! Hard to drink bold coffee and still get smooth not bitter this coffee stands up to the best.if you don't like bold this is not for you but if you do it's by far the best out there!

My husbands favorite

My husband won't drink anything else anymore. We purchased several variety packs when we first got our maker. Once he tried this coffee, he quit drinking the others so I have lots of other pods sitting in boxes in the cabinets.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Perfect Without Anything, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter
