This coffee was so bitter I couldn't drink it and dumped it . Thank god, I only bought the sample pack because it would of been a waste of money then. I think Starbucks makes a better coffee than this and not as strong either. So, wouldn't buy this again.

I thought I could go stronger but this was way bad. I guess I'm not a Coffee Connoisseur.

This brew was a disappointment. I thought from the reviews that it'd be much better. Instead I had a bitter coffee that left a really gross after taste.

Seemed like flavored coffee

There seemed to be an oily bitter after taste. I'm all for a strong roast, but this had a flavor that seemed artificial, like a flavored coffee.
Pros: I wish I had a Pro

BURNT ASHES!

This is the most horrible coffee I have ever had! I was looking for an Italian coffee like Olive Garden. Instead I found this which is like 24 hour old truck stop special!!! It's that bad, I just threw out the WHOLE box minus the cup I just poured down the drain. I made the cup on the 8oz setting tried it black... then one sugar, then 2, then added a ton of milk and still couldn't get past the burnt ash flavor. It's A LOT cheap just to go chew on CHARCOAL!

Not for casual coffee drinkers

The description for this mentions a "a subtle hint of smokiness." The part of that I don't agree with is the "subtle" part. To me, it's very smoky and leaves a bitter after taste. I'm sure some who like a very robust coffee taste will like this, but it was way too bitter for me.
