If you are looking for a cup of coffee with flavor and a punch, this is the coffee for you. It is a bit darker than my liking, but it is certainly full of rich flavors. It is smooth, and a bit thicker than usual. It is a good Italian Roast, would recommend if you like darker, richer coffee.

The only coffee I order is the Barista Italian Roast. I had an incident months ago where the K-pods would burst open when I brought the handle down, and the grounds went flying all over the place. That was a few months ago. I just got my new shipment in and the first box had 6 that did the same thing. I was looking for a web site to write to customer service at Barista, but there was none, and the rest of this box was okay, so I wasn't going to make a big deal about it. I've just opened our 2nd box and so far, so good...the pods are not bursting. Maybe someone at Keurig could notify them and tell their quality control to somehow check to see how full the pods are packed. If the problem continues, I may just get another brand of coffee, but I'm being tolerant with this brand because it's my favorite, and I'm hoping it's just a couple of times where this flukey thing happened.

Hi I have been buying and drinking this Dark Roast Italian for at least 2-3 years, recently the strength has diminished, do you have a reason for this.???????
This used to be the best cup of coffee available, now it is less than average, i now call it wimpy and am looking for a replacement pod.
