This is one of the best coffees from a favorite brand. It's labeled dark-roast but tastes more like an excellent medium-roast; very smooth without a burnt taste. Excellent in the morning.

I received these as a sample pack, I did not not enjoy them as much as I hoped I would. They were bitter to me and had a strange after taste. Not my favorite. I did try all the cups in the sample pack, the House Blend was a little better than the rest.

Not as complex as I expected

For a premium brand, this lacked the complexity and aroma I had expected. This is an excellent coffee, smooth, with little bitterness. I don't feel it was worth the extra cost.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast
Cons: Not Enough Flavor

With this purchase I have learned not to trust the reviews. As far as I am concerned aroma and taste are the two reasons drinking coffee is a pleasurable experience and this has neither.
