Hawaiian Blend Coffee by Tully's Coffee is great. I love it because my husband and I finally found something we both really like. He likes a medium coffee and I like a stronger coffee. With the Keurig Vue I can make a strong cup of coffee and this is by far my favorite so far.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS coffee!!! (or maybe it's because I'm originally from Hawaii?!...) Either way, this has been one of my favorite Medium roasts. I originally bought a box on sale at my local grocer, and found that I'd consumed it in about 2 weeks time -which I never do for ANY box. It has a wonderful earthy aroma with just a touch of roasted nut flavor, and it's not too acidic. The one thing that caught me off guard was the nice amount of natural oil it showed after settling from the brewing process. Definitely a smooth and pleasant cup to enjoy any time of day or night!!
I purchased several kinds of coffee and liked many but this one is my favorite. It is the closest thing I have compared to the coffee I enjoyed in Hawaii. I plan to keep this as a staple in my kitchen. It is a full bodied brew. I prefer dark roasts so those of you looking for a mild coffee may not want to choose this one. Many mornings I passed up some fine coffee to grab this one. It I memorable and sort of addictive ;)
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast, Great blend, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter
I drink at least one cup of coffee, but usually two every morning. My favorites are Tully's French roast and Green Mountain's Sumatran Reserve. The first because its a balanced all around bold flavor. However the flavor profile can be somewhat boring. I like the Sumatra because of its rich and earthy almost nutty flavor which can sometimes be a little too robust. Enter the Hawaiian blend. The label states "This blend is 10%Hawaiian and other Arabica beans". To me it is the perfect balance between a dark flavorful roast minus the sometimes bitter finish of a bold roast. I don't sweeten my coffee but do top it with frothed cream. For me this is well-balance, nutty but still bold and rich. Perfect!
