I thought I was ordering Paper Mate red pens on sale but I received Staples brand. The pen writes smoothly but the ink is pink at best and much harder to read than the Paper Mate "real" red ink.

Purchased very recently so not enough time to properly rate. I will say it writes smoothly and easily and does not smear all over the place (hands paperwork)…so I do appreciate that. I would be happy to rate this when used for a while. I will give it a five because of the above reasons.

Choosing a favorite pen is a highly personal choice. What can I say? These are my favorite. I have tried many many pens over the years - no pen is perfect. But these write the smoothest to me and I order them over and over. Once in a while you will get one that bleeds a little ink (I hate that!) but I find that these bleed less than other brands. I will continue to purchase.
