I ordered this hoping it would be good, but let me tell you, it was great! I honestly didn't expect this to be my favorite - I enjoy the Starbucks and Caribou blends, and I didn't think it would be possible that this would be better, but it is. Very smooth, not bitter at all, and very rich, flavorful and dark without being too much. So seriously delicious and my new favorite - back to order more today! Try it!

I adore this coffee! I'm a fan of several other dark roasts, but for some reason at my store, this one is less expensive than the others. I don't know why, but I always feel like the price is a mistake and that I'm getting away with something! GREAT rich dark coffee!

Hate to admit that I'm a coffee snob; but I am. Prefer strong, bold coffee and almost always only drink Starbucks dark roast coffees. I decided to try the Eight O'Clock Dark Roast after sampling it at a friend's house. Tastes just as good as Starbucks French Roast or Cafe Verona and at lesser cost. Love the bold, smooth body without any bitter taste. Now will definitely include this brand into my coffee repertoire.

I tried it at 6 oz, 8 oz, and 10 oz with good results. It is a bit light on the 10 oz setting but still strong enough. Maybe if hey added a little more grinds it would work well for the 10 oz setting. For the price of 13 dollars for 24, it's worth it. I think all the kcups are way overpriced.
