We've had a Keurig for two years in the office and every quarter we switch to a different dark roast looking for the best flavor. Finally we found a k-cup roast that has an nice roast flavor that doesn't taste watered down. In fact it taste like a fresh brewed cup of coffee that has some kick. I highly recommend 8 o'clock in Dark Italian Roast.
I use Eight O'Clock Dark Italian Roast in the single K-Cups for my Keurig Brewer and I'm in love with it! I've never heard of this brand of coffee before until I got a Keurig Brewer for Christmas and I came on the website to order more K-Cups. I decided to pick this one to try it out and see how it tasted because I have never had Italian Roast coffee before. After trying it, I would recommend this product to anyone who loves Dark Italian Roast coffee!
I tried a few dozen brands of K-Cup coffee before settling on Eight O'Clock Dark Italian Roast. Now I drink nothing else. It has the perfect balance of full bodied coffee. I detest watery and/or bitter coffee. I would prefer a grape soda to articicially flavored coffee. That's where you would expect a flavored drink. In my opinion flavored coffee is coffee for girls.
In the morning, I need a coffee with some "wake-up" bold taste. And this has got it. I've found coffees to equal it, but I've yet to find anything to top it.
I could tell from the first brew, this flavorwasn't going to go well with my coffee preferences. If you like the way Starbucks KCups taste, you will like this, if you're a Green Mountain fan...you may not care for the strong, acidic brew. I'm giving my box away.
Pros: Strong Flavor
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
