Really like this one, has plenty of kick, nice bold flavor, not bitter. About equal to Dark Magic, I really have a hard time recommending one over the other. This one is a little cheaper, which is a plus.
Excellent, great dark roast coffee! One of my absolute favorites! I will buy this again and again! Finally a good dark, strong coffee that is a great bargain in K-cups!
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Good price, Balanced Acidity
Cons: none

I usually like my coffee freshly hot; almost piping hot. The flavor and aroma of this brew don't come through best at higher temps. However, as often happens I got distracted by some request or requirement around the house and set my cup of this brew down for a bit. When I came back to it, it was drinkably hot - not lukewarm; not piping hot...somewhere comfortably in between. At that point the body, aroma and overall experience of this brand of coffee were significantly better. Make this type of 8 O'Clock a wee bit bolder, with bit more flavor, and keep the price point the same, and you'll have a coffee that fits a wide range of uses and a winner!
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste
Cons: Not Enough Flavor

I love a bold hearty coffee without the burnt taste. This a great cup of coffee. Eight O'Clock has always been a great coffee, very happy to see this dark roast added to the family. Very enjoyable cup of coffee would like to get a larger mug with the same flavor from the Keurig( goes great with a chocolate creamer). Will purchase again.
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma
I would recommend this to a friend!

I remember when we'd go on hunting and fishing trips and drink coffee percolated over a fire or on a portable stove. Have never enjoyed coffee more. However this coffee ranks way up there. I like medium strong coffee and this suits me fine when brewed in the 9 1/2 oz. cup size.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste, Good In Larger Size Brews, Pleasing Roast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pleasantly Surprised

I took a chance and I picked up the Eight O' Clock Dark Italian Roast at my local grocery store and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The flavor is not as bold as I like however, it is very smooth and flavorful. It must be popular at my store because they seem to sell a lot of it. It is a very good value too; can't complain.
