the area where you insert the plastic tabs is reinforced with plastic meaning it will not tear as easily. Same with the bottom of the folders.

Why Pay More ?

Staples 100% Recycled Reinforced Hanging File Folders Letter Size 5 tab 25 in a box are adequate for any personal office filing cabinet. Sure you can pay more and buy color coordinate folders but why ??? These folders serve the purpose and they are sturdy enough for most applications. Once the door of the filing cabinet is closed who needs fancy colors and little logos. You need a place to keep papers to locate quickly when they are needed. That is what a filing folder is for. Nothing more and nothing less. Be SMART and save your money for something more important. I can guarantee that your paper work does not change by using more expensive products. Keep money in your wallet and NOT in your filing cabinet.

These are sturdy re-enforced hanging file folders that should wear well with time. Compared to the regular one’s I have that lasted me several years there’s should hold up better.
