Writes a good "line " yet handling is a bit scratchy

I like the writing this pen produces. I like that it doesn't bleed or smear and that I can write on both sides of the page of the rather thin yellow-lined-paper-pad I'm writing my notes on. Sadly there's one drawback. The pen occasionally "stumbles" on the paper as though it's scratching or getting stuck as I curve the line to form some letter or another. The "stumble" interrupts the flow of my hand and may cause the ink to skip. Then I have to retrace that line to fill in the missing ink. I suppose that's what made the invention of the ball point pen great. I'd like this pen to have a consistent glide across the paper.
I really love these Tru Red Retractable pens. they are easy to hold with the textured barrel and write very smoothly. They are a joy to use after spending a half a day and finding all my pens at home had fried out. Thanks to the sales person whom put me onto them.
They’re not the same feel as pilot ones but they write very well - no gaps. I would absolutely purchase them again. They worked excellently for thank you cards.
New pen is very comfortable to write with. Very smooth too. Doesn't smuge. Like the fine tip-0.5. Would like it in blue ink. Also my husband would like it in 1.0 size-broad tip.
Excellent pens great value. No hiccups or skips in ink. Very smooth writing. Barrel is rubberized/textured for good grip and the pen is very comfortable in hand. Not a lot of force required to write so helps works well for me and my arthritis. I love these pens.
