Staples have really produced a very good range of pens in Tru Red retractable and cap pens. The pens write well smoothly do not bleed do not leak or smudge and the writing dry just at right speed. The rubberized grip is very very comfortable to hold. Very ergonomic. I am 100% satisfied.i give it A-1. The cost is also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The ink is goopy on most paper. It also ghosts and easily bleeds through paler. It’s a bad copy of the Ink Joy pens.

The point is too fine; I can't hold it at a low angle or the ink doesn't set as well. I bought the .5 after accidentally buying the 1.0 but the 1.0 was to smear-y. I should have gone with the .7 (more standard) but I didn't want to have the same problem with smearing (so I overshot the fine-ness mark). Pretty good pens I just wish I had gotten the .7.
