This is a very smooth and precise roller balls style pen. I prefer roller ball over ball point pens because writing is effortless however most roller ball pens leak if you pause or stop moving the pen while it’s touching the paper. Tru Red .5 doesn’t. I also like that it is retractable. Most of the other roller balls require a cap. The only downside for me is the large diameter of the grip.

These pens are very smooth for being 0.5mm. The fully rubberized barrel also adds to the pen’s ergonomics and makes it grippy and easy to hold.
