Strong, Extra Bold, Great Flavor, Smooth

Dark and strong with a great clean flavor. Smooth to the last drop. The roast is just right and no burned or bitter taste. This is an incredible coffee and instantly became my new favorite and I can't wait until I brew the next cup.

I have had double black diamond on recurring order for over a year now and I don't think I could rightly start my day without it. I have tried HUNDREDS coffees and am always looking for something that can be brewed STRONG but remain balanced. I have tried many of the other bold offerings (espresso blend, dark magic etc) but Double Black diamond has very low acidity and tastes almost chocolaty...AND it's good brewed on the largest setting so I don't have to use 2 kcups per cup.

Kcup for a fan of very dark roasted

Closest in flavor, body and strength to that retail brand that cannot be mentioned, at least when brewing a small cup. Still a little weak for my preferences when brewing a large cup. Has made me a confirmed Kcup fan.

Cons: Can't make large cup

Only K-cup for lovers of STRONG coffee

This is the only K-cup with enough flavor for me. All the other extra bolds: Jet Fuel, Wake-up call, Dark magic, Expresso blend, French roast are thin and weak in comparison to double black. I brew a medium cup and it has great flavor and body. (in comparison I brew "iced coffee" size for the flavored/non-extra bolds and I consider them weak and thin, even in that size)

Smooth for a dark and bold coffee

I am fairly new to drinking coffee. I was more into cappuccino and now find myself liking coffee more and more. I find this coffee much smoother than some of the other dark blends, but like the header says it is "not for the faint of heart" Well done Green Mountain.

I really enjoy the bold flavor of this coffee. I have tried several other brands and this extra bold is my favorite.
