After sampling several flavors, I have settled on the Double Diamond flavor. I prefer a strong flavor coffee and this fills the bill.

I wanted a coffee with "kick". Stroooong. Tried this one a year or so ago, twice in case we'd gotten a weak year. I recommend Emerill's Bold if you want a strong coffee. If anyone can recommend another strong one I'd appreciate it. But never this one.

Tastes differ, but ...

I like very strong coffee. Green Mountain Black Diamond has been my far-and-away favorite so far, so I figured that Double Diamond would be even better. I just tried it today, and I was very disappointed. Yes, it's strong, but it seems to lack the rich coffee flavor of Black Diamond. It's a very bitter brew, and I'm not looking forward to finishing out the two boxes that I bought (due to my high hopes). Since I make two-pod cups, maybe I'll blend a Double Diamond pod with another type to make it more palatable.

Not really a dark roast

Saw good reviews on this coffee and decided to give it a try, big mistake, it is not really tasted as a dark roast, maybe medium the most. I wouldn't order it again. If you're looking for strong taste, go for a different one.

In your face!

I love extra bold coffee that's rich and complex, but this doesn't quite fit the bill for me. It's very much an in-your-face kind of coffee--extra bold and strong, yes, but there's also a general harshness and lack of complexity that isn't pleasing. It's decent coffee, and I wouldn't turn it down if someone offered it to me. But Dark Magic is much better.

Double Diamond Just OK

Compared to other dark roast coffee I've ordered from Keurig, Double Diamond is one of my least favorite varieties. Sumatran Reserve, Cafe Verona, Italian and French Roast from Green Mtn. and Starbucks have much better dark roast flavor.
