Lake & Lodge really makes you feel like it's a cup you should be having on a lake house deck or early morning by a campfire. Great coffee, not too dark just smooth enough! Perhaps their most balanced and best tasting cup.

It's hard to believe people pay almost $4 for a cup of coffee when you can have Double Diamond for about 50 cents a cup and all of it's goodness.

Unpleasant flavor

I like dark, strong coffee once in a while, like French Roast or Dark Magic. But Double Diamond has none of the great flavor qualities of those two. To me, it tastes like someone had put a bit of styptic pencil powder in my cup. I'm glad I bought the sample pack, so I don't have to throw away too many pods.
Cons: Bitter
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than Starbucks

I really enjoy strong, dark, flavorful coffee and Double diamond really achieves this and is the best k-cup variety I have tried. I like it even better than Starbucks k-cups. I also like the skier reference. I wish they made it in decaf.

Cons: No Decaf Version

I use this specific coffee as my early morning eye-opener, then I have a second cup around 2ish. This has become one of my most favorite coffees!
