Smell and taste were not pleasent

I love a good storng coffee but this coffee was just not pleasent. My wife said that the aroma from this coffee smelled like an ashtray. The taste was just as bad. I ended up pouring this one out! The first time that I have every poured out a cup of coffee. I am very lucky because I was able to sample this before I ended up with an entire box!

This is a pretty tasty roast for those that like their coffee roast a little darker. This darker roast has a good flavor and body without leaving an unpleasant aftertaste.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter

Not the same coffee

I hate to leave such a bad review, but has anyone else had a bad experience with this Double Black Diamond? This USED to be my all time favorite coffee. I recently ordered a fresh supply and it's disgusting! It literally is coming out like colored water. I opened up a second box thinking it was a fluke, but yup same thing. I called customer service who was VERY helpful and so nice. They sent out replacement coffee of the same variety, but again the same thing. Really too bad about this one.
