This coffee has an earthy, full body, taste with a hint of sweetness at the finish.

Bold and BITTER

My wife and I enjoy a dark bold roast in our coffee. This, however, was more akin to an assault on our senses and palate. I usually use the midsize button to brew my cup. On this I used the large pour and it still was too much for me. At coffee shops I tend to order an Americano if I want a regular cup of joe. The had none of the appeal of the delight I had expected and instead we killed it with half and half and would just have perferred to throw it into a compost pile, but feared it would make our garden's vegitables bitter as well. Sure that was snark, but in all honesty this was the first time I've HATED a brew from Green Mountain.
We had Double Diamond for after Thanksgiving Dinner coffee. Great coffee if you like dark and toasty.

To me, it had an awful flavor, with a cinnamon nutty aftertaste and I really enjoy my coffee dark and bold. I drink Greek and Turkish coffee so that might enlighten you that I do not mind a bitter flavor. I order all our dark coffee's from Keurig, but this was a definite NO for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
