Double Diamond Just OK

Compared to other dark roast coffee I've ordered from Keurig, Double Diamond is one of my least favorite varieties. Sumatran Reserve, Cafe Verona, Italian and French Roast from Green Mtn. and Starbucks have much better dark roast flavor.

Disappointed

I've been drinking this coffee for a few years, and absolutely loved it. But my last order (April 2018) of DD was disappointing. They changed the look of the k-cup, and I think the flavor was also changed. It is now a medium roast at best. The wonderful full flavor is gone. I am sooo disappointed, and will not be ordering it anymore. Need to find a replacement. Green Mountain ... please bring back the old DD!!!

Best Dark Roast Ever

I've been drinking Black Diamond for years. Keep buying new dark roast k-cups as they appear on the website. Only Eight O'Clock dark roast comes close to DD. These are the best if you want a full-bodied, non-bitter dark roast. Wish Green Mountain would make a Double Diamond Decaf. Then, my coffee life would be complete.

This is the first coffee I have found that is truly dark and not watered down. This is my go to.

Awful Flavor

I've been trying out most of the flavors from Green Mountain, but Double Diamond was so strong I could'nt even finish half the cup! It tasted awful, not even like coffee. Two reviews I read on this site said it all; 1) tasted like feet and 2) tasted like an ashtray. I will never buy this again, and never recommend it to anyone, even those who like strong, dark coffee.

Could be my new everyday coffee!

I tried this instead of Green Mountain Dark Magic and Starbucks Sumatra and loved it. It is bold yet smooth with no aftertaste and usually much cheaper than Starbucks.

In your face!

I love extra bold coffee that's rich and complex, but this doesn't quite fit the bill for me. It's very much an in-your-face kind of coffee--extra bold and strong, yes, but there's also a general harshness and lack of complexity that isn't pleasing. It's decent coffee, and I wouldn't turn it down if someone offered it to me. But Dark Magic is much better.

Not really a dark roast
on December 1, 2017

Saw good reviews on this coffee and decided to give it a try, big mistake, it is not really tasted as a dark roast, maybe medium the most. I wouldn't order it again.
If you're looking for strong taste, go for a different one.
