A real Gorilla Brew

Disregarding flavored coffees (which have their place) and decaffeinated coffees (which don't), there are essentially three strengths of coffee: (1) Newspaper coffees, (2) Regular coffees, and (3) Gorilla brews. Newspaper coffee isn't what you read WITH a paper, it's what you read a newspaper THROUGH. It is so weak and characterless as to make one wonder why anyone even went to the trouble of brewing it. It is usually made by waving coffee beans over hot water. Regular coffee is what one commonly finds in commercial establishments, college study halls, office coffee klatches, and "Refreshments" table at symposiums (along with the stale Danishes and lemon-filled donuts). It's your basic utility grade cup of Joe. You accept it, barely, when there's no other coffee available. Then, there's Gorilla Brew. One sip puts hair on your chest (or, if you're a lady, maybe just a little peach fuzz). It's what you want before, during, and after that final college exam or that presentation you're going to give at the senior managers conference. It's what you want when you wake up in the morning. In fact, given a choice between a hot shower or a cup of this stuff, you'd have a very difficiult time deciding which to choose. Bottom line: Give these K-Cups to your close friends, loved ones, and honored guests who appreciate a good, hearty cup of coffee. Give this blend to those on your Christmas list who own (or need to own) a Keurig machine. They will thank you prosfusely and appreciate your discriminating taste in coffees.
I have tried and have been disappointed in all the GMC brand of coffee's all were either too weak or had an off taste, so when I added a box of this to my order I wasn't expecting much however after tasting it and now having the box almost completely gone I am shocked but glad to say it will be a regular in my rotation of Bold coffee's, definitely worth a try.
I have only tried about 10 different varieties so far, but this will definitely be a constant in my stash. Being mostly a french press user, and roasting my own beans (little darker than french) this coffee is the first one that very closely matches that. I'm in heaven.
At the risk of copyright infringement, I must say that Double Black Diamond truly is "the best part of waking up"! Bold, smooth, and devilishly dark, it's just the wakeup call I need. Unlike French roasts, Double Black Diamond is dark and strong without tasting smokey or burnt, and has a smooth, clean finish with no bitter aftertaste (and no "coffee breath"!). The caffeine rush from it is different too...more "push" than "kick", and no crash later either. Overall, this is a 5-star brew, and if you like it strong and dark, you must try it yourself!
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste, Clean finish, No Bitter Aftertaste, Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Strong but not smoky
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love strong smooth coffee. When I bought my Kuerig I bought a variety of different K-cups and by far this one is my favorite.
A pod makes an 8 ounce mug perfect. Strong enough without bitterness. I panic when running low because Double Black Diamond Extra Bold Coffee cannot be purchased locally.
