It's heavy and bulky as is without adding a case to it. Also, it's not phone specific, but the Visual Voicemail has the be the dumbest feature ever presented. You don't have an option for a typical voicemail box. No, you have to jump through hoops to set up Visual Voicemail and it's like 4 additional steps to listen to it even after set up, compared to how Voicemail used to be. Not every update is an improvement and not every single thing under the sun needs an update to begin with. Some things work best when they're simple and not overcomplicated for no apparent reason at all.

Nothing but issues since I received it. Ives had samsung phones for over 10 years and this has given me the most problems. I wish I had my old Fold 2 back again. That was a great phone. Do not upgrade to this phone. It's a flop. Also the phone messes up and they want you to send it in for 5-7 days for it to potentially still not be fixed. The screen is glitching out for no reason and I have only had the phone for about 6 months. I have all this warranty/Insurance coverage for Nothing

Disappointing Experience with the Samsung Fold 5

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 with high hopes for its innovative design and cutting-edge features. However, after using it for a few weeks, I find myself thoroughly disappointed with several key aspects of the device.
First and foremost, the battery performance of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 leaves much to be desired. Despite its hefty price tag, I am constantly struggling to make it through a full day of usage without needing to recharge. The device drains power faster than I expected, which is frustrating and inconvenient, especially for someone constantly on the go.
Moreover, the camera quality on this device is far from what I anticipated. Given Samsung's reputation for producing exceptional camera systems, I was shocked by the subpar performance of the Galaxy Fold 5's cameras. The images lack the sharpness and detail that I had come to expect from a flagship device. Low-light situations are particularly disappointing, as noise and graininess often mar the photos.
One of the most perplexing decisions by Samsung is the omission of the S Pen from the package. For a device at this price point, I would have assumed that the S Pen, a staple accessory for Samsung's Note series, would be included. Its absence not only feels like a missed opportunity for enhanced productivity but also adds an extra cost to an already expensive investment.
In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 falls short of my expectations in multiple areas. The poor battery performance, disappointing camera quality, and the absence of the S Pen have all contributed to a less-than-satisfactory experience with this device. I had hoped for a seamless blend of innovation and functionality, but unfortunately, the Galaxy Fold 5 falls flat in delivering on these promises

Great phone, sleek design with 2 main challenges

I love the phone had it for months. The design is slick, thin and everything works great. The number one issue is the width of the cover screen and the phone in general. Way too small for adequate keyboard interaction. Number two is the stylus integration, first it is not stored in the phone making the purchase of a clumsy cover necessary, then the cover screen does not support the pen, forcing you to unfold the phone in order to use the phone. If Samsung solves these 2 major issues the phone is golden, but if not I'll go back to the ultra.

Even though your Galaxy Z Fold5 did not come with an S Pen, it is compatible with the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro Edition. I love the big screen view with appropriate pocket size when folded. I have been using Samsung phones since 12 years , because I am android fan. Samsung has come a long way, I always like innovative approach and feature packed smartphones. I phone has it's own Pros and cons, but I phone never offered fold, reverse charging, camera zoom, screen share or reverse wireless charge sharing. I like reading news, articles my study materials and another interesting science magazines on phone , Fold phone offered perfect screen to avoid eye strain. Enjoyed YouTube movies and web series while traveling.

Juice not worth the squeeze

Nice phone,. A bit heavy but not bad for what you get. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the price. For something that has obsolescence engineered into it, as all things do now days, it's just not worth it.

Front screen is way to small. Texting is a task. Have my ZFold 1 week and it constantly updates the software Almost 2x a day. Not impressed. Upgrading from the note 20 Ultra to a Zfold feels more like a downgrade. Bring back the Note

I bought this two days ago. Very disappointing that the S Pen does not come standard, and the one that comes with the Samsung case has LESS functionality than the S Pen for my S22 Ultra! You cannot use the S Pen to take a photo and it only works on the main screen! Its also extremely disappointing that the camera on the Z Fold 5 is LESS than the camera on the S 22 Ultra. There are few customizations that are available for the Fold 5. When you consider the price tag is almost $500 more than the Ultra, the value is not there and the phone isnt all that great. Not sure if Im gonna keep the phone for that price, but I have a few days left to use and discover it.
