Not 9.8 - power on right side

These lights are great, very cool and the customization options on the app is awesome. For those who plan to center the string on a wall. The specs. say the distance is 9.8' on center to the outermost lights. Mine was actually 9.3'. Not sure if all strings vary a bit in size, but if you're a perfectionist, suggest stretching them to their full length and measuring before determining where to stick up your first light.
Also, the instruction diagrams make it seem that the power source side (the first light in the string) starts from the left side of the wall, but the power source on mine was opposite, requiring the power to come from the right side of my wall.

Most Impressive!

My family only has one fan, but it’s not the best: it’s very loud and only has 3 speed modes. I got this to battle the heat of Southern California. I like how it’s very quiet—too quiet that it literally won’t interrupt my sleep. I’m also surprised by how cool the air feels—it’s so crisp and fresh! I use my Alexa to turn it on/off and to oscillate if I want to. Literally a life-changing fan. 10/10!

These lights are a great addition to my gaming room and I love them! There's a lot of color and scene options to fit any mood. I want to give them 5 stars but installing them did have some challenges. You can only put the lights counter-clockwise around your room because of the design so the button to turn them on is not where I wanted it to be. Also I didn't realize this at first so I put on half the lights wrong and had to take them off which did remove some of my wall with it. They give you a good bit of replacement sticky pads so it was okay in the end and I still love them! Might get more for other rooms.

Quiet fan with good flow

Nice and stable. Sets right next to our bed. My wife will not let me move it. It's her fan now. The Govee app is good too. When we were setting up our new place we decided to expand into the Govee ecosystem for consistency and ease of use. It's working out well so far.

Love the lights, but they are glitchy

When they work properly, these lights are a vibe. When they glitch out, it's a little pointless to use because 8 lights go out and 3 of them just light up max brightness white when I everything else dim a completely different color. Again, great product but glitches out too much lately.
