So upset with this purchase

I bought this monitor because it was recommended by a friend. I am regretting it very much. I have found that I can not use it for more than half an hour at a time, because it begins to beep stating low battery. The parent unit is plugged in constantly, so that is impossible! I am so angry for having purchased this useless thing, because now I have to spend even more money to get a monitor that actually works.

Very disapointing

I purchased this product because it seemed to be the best value. That is, it has the most features for the money. However, after using it for a few weeks, I wished I had gotten a different one. This moniter stops working from time to time. The receiver loses its signal for no reason and the system needs to be reset in order to start working again. Several times I've woken in the middle of the night to a very upset baby, with no idea how long she had been crying. The extra features are great, but if this monitor doen't serve it's basic purpose, what good is it?

Waste of time and money

This monitor is the worst! It will stop working in the middle of the night! Many times I have woken up to hear my child screaming from across the hall, and when I look at the monitor it is on but just not working. The battery life on it is also disappointing.

My husband and I wanted a monitor that would give us the temperature in our nursery. So far, it has been very accurate. The sound quality of the monitor is pretty good, and I like how it will vibrate to notify you. You can also talk to your baby...almost like a intercom. Overall, I really like the unit.

I wish I didn't purchase this

The third day of using this product the nursery unit stopped submitting sound to the parental unit. After awhile of pushing buttons, we found if you unplugged the nursery unit from the wall the unit must reset itself. This must be done every third day to stop this. Wish I would have found this out in the middle of the night when the unit decided to shut itself off. Also the parental unit beeps for no reason, occasionally with no pattern to it after a few hours of use. I understand that it beeps when it's low on battery or out of range. Our room is fifteen feet away from our nursery so there is no way it's out of range. Also we leave the unit always plugged in so there is no way it's low on battery. I wish I would have read some of these reviews before we purchased this item. I was hoping for a better monitor with the additional money we spent on this product. I wish I would have saved the receipt, I would have returned this item for a different monitor. Very disappointed in this product.

Not the quality we expected

We bought this monitor before the birth of our 3rd child and it was quite a disappointment. Usually with monitors the light indicator showing noise is on the front because if you're laying in bed you can look over and see what's going on. On this monitor it's on the top and unless you have the monitor lower than you (looking right on top of it) you can't see the indicator. Also, we liked the idea of long range use but that didn't happen either. It would be nice to be able to take it into the front yard so I could watch my other children play while the baby is asleep, however, the monitor loses contact with the base constantly. I actually have to go up to the baby's room, turn the base off and back on to re-establish the connection. This is especially frustrating at night when I toss and turn wondering if once I fall asleep the monitor will stop connecting and I won't hear my child. We ended up using a different monitor, one we used with my son, that's over 2 years old but still works perfectly. Not a good purchase.

Terrible purchase... So disappointed

This monitor is horrible. It loses signal or just stops working and goes silent without notifying you like it's supposed to. I have now found my child screaming in his crib 2 times with no noise from the monitor. I figured it was a fluke the first time, but obviously not. There is no point in buying a monitor that can't function to do the basic thing it's supposed to. The interference static is also bad and the range is nowhere near what it claims. I am beyond disappointed. We have liked all of our other Graco products, but after this I will never buy another one.

DO NOT BUY

Words cannot express how much I hate this monitor. It constantly cuts on and off with a loud beep even when I'm just in the next room. The beeping all night makes me want to throw the thing. If it's on vibrate and my daughter cries, it shuts off with the first "Waa". I don't like that it's not wireless either. I have to plug it in everywhere I go in the house. I'm only holding on to this until I can find a new one. Then I'm kicking this thing out of my window.
