NOT HAPPY WITH NEW KITCHEN FRESH HANDS FORMULA

I have been buying and using your Kitchen Fresh Hands soap for many years because it was the best kitchen and bathroom soap out there. In a rush, I grabbed a 56 ounce refill bottle at the store and didn't notice the different appearance at that time. I noticed the difference when I was about to refill a pump bottle in my kitchen. I noticed the difference in color and thought maybe it had been tampered with. I opened it and realized it does not smell the same as the old formula. I read on the back not to use with other hand soaps, not realizing that statement includes the old formula (there was a small amount of the old formula when I poured the new into the bottle). It looks like a science experiment gone bad. I threw that whole bottle away which is difficult for me to do because it is so wasteful and I am on a budget. I replaced the old bottle with another bottle of the old formula I recently purchased. Not only is the viscosity very different, I have to use much more of the new soap than the old soap to get clean and clean smelling hands. I have been putting rubber bands on the pumps of the old formula to keep my grandkids from using too much with a single pump of soap. I am so very disappointed in your new product and won't be buying anymore of this new version. I'm afraid I will now have to search for another brand that hopefully works as well as the old formula of this soap. It's like the New Coke fiasco many years ago and I hope that your company will also return to the tried and true old formula of this hand soap.

New formula lost this loyal customer

I used to use the old Kitchen Fresh Hands daily, at home and work. It was the best product for cleaning hands and removing offensive odors. It's OLD, thicker formula lathered well and cleaned well with one pump. The new formula is no better than colored water. Even with two or three pumps it still doesn't lather sufficiently, and half the time when I pump the watery soap out it misses the target completely and ends up wasted in the bottom of the sink due to its watery consistency. I'll NEVER purchase the new version again! Softsoap, I hope you come to your senses and bring back the old formula, because as of now, you've lost a loyal customer.

So disappointed

I used up the last of my refill stock of the Kitchen Fresh Hands soap last week. I bought several refill bottles at a time because I liked it so much and wasn't always able to find it locally. When I started hunting for a new bottle I discovered that the formula had been changed. I purchased a small bottle of the new formula to try since no one seemed happy with it, and I'm so glad I did. The new is NOTHING like the soap I have been using for years. It is runny and squirts all over when I pump the bottle, dries out my hands, no lather to clean my greasy, gooey kitchen hands when I need it. Why change such a great product? This is going in the trash and I will be hunting for a new kitchen soap.

This WAS the best soap hands-down for the kitchen. Fantastic at getting food smells off your hands! Why did you change the formula?? Please change it back!!

I loved the original kitchen odor neutralizing it worked great. Purchased all the time. Replacement product not good, comes out thin and milky. Will never buy again.

If it's NOT broken, don't fix it!

I loved the original formula of this soap. It is no longer available in the large refill. I purchased 2 of the small size with a pump and poured it into my clear kitchen soap container. When the new formula mixed with the old, a horrible white scum formed! WHAT THE ----! It is gross and no one wants to use it on their hands. Please bring back the large refill in the original formula. This was not a sample (re: question below)

One of the worst formula changes ever...

Been a user of SoftSoap products for most of the last 30 years...thought the original formula of Kitchen Hands (where you could see "bubbles" floating in the liquid) was one of the best kitchen/bath soap products ever. The new version is terrible...while obviously visually different in the bottle, I had hopes that it would perform similarly. It does not - it doesn't lather well and separates over time into this oddly milky, slimy mix. Sure hope that the original formula comes back or I may have to move off SoftSoap products.

New formula is terrible.

I loved the old kitchen fresh formula. I have been buying it for years. It was great for removing garlic and other odors from my hands and left them feeling clean but not dried out. The new formula is very watery and you have to use twice as much soap to even get it to clean your hands. I can't even smell the lemon scent minutes after using it and it does not remove odors as effectively as the old version. I do not recommend this new version and I hope that they bring back to original since it was a far superior product. (As other reviews stated, I was unable to choose "No" under the "received this as a sample" area on the review page. I did not receive a sample. I purchased the full sized bottle.)
