I have been using Zebra Sarasa pens for over ten years now. They just keep getting better!! I might find one in a drawer or pencil cup or notebook that I haven't used for awhile...it always starts writing without fail. Other gel pens on the market would be dry or unusable in that amount of time and the Sarasa pens write smoother for me than any other gel pen on the market. The color selection is is outstanding and unmatched by any other brand. Please, Zebra, only keep changing for the positive and you'll always have my business!!!
I am immediately impressed with the Zebra SARASA Gel Pen! I stumbled upon one of these while walking to the library and the exterior just caught my eye. At first I was assuming it was some kind of Brown, or maybe some kind of Red, or some kind of Red/Brown hybrid...like Mahogany(really!, this one was on the tip of my tongue). And so, I decided to search, and Eureka!, I think I'm a fan.
For years, I have used the 0.7 pen in blue, and, fewer, in red. I used the blue every day and was loyal to the brand. I, recently, bought a 'package' of new blue pens (0.7) knowing that I would continue to enjoy them. If I knew what these new pens were like I would not have bought them. These pens write thick/wide - not what I want - not what I need. I know the 0.5 writes thin ... I'm not looking for thin. That's good for accounting - fine detail. Should you make 0.7 pens as they were - I'd appreciate knowing. Or, if there is some old stock - in good shape - I would be interested to know.
My three star rating is due to the fact that the pens in every colour except the black keep jamming up. They work beautifully for a few lines but then, despite the ink being fresh and full, it fades out and won't write anymore! What can I do to get them going again or avoid this problem? I LOVE these pens and really want to be able to use all the colours but find that aside from the black and sometimes the red or pink they have all had this problem. Pink, green, blue, port, purple etc. It is heartbreaking that I have spent so much money and had to toss out pens because they won't work consistently and I need a pen that works so my work notes are consistent.
Very good quality pen. Got mine at 0.3mm. Dries instantly, smooth to write. I'm on my 2nd pen now (cobalt blue)and will probably buy another one when it runs out of ink. Highly recommended.
Literally my favorite pen ever. And I'm very particular about pens! No smudge, which is great for lefties, and it always writes smoothly, but crisply. All around great. Even better than Pilot G2.
