Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's nothing worse, when you are packing a box, to lose that end of the tape and have to fiddle around - seemingly forever - to find the edge. With this product you don't have that problem. The tape edge is always there and easy to use. Another advantage is how it doesn't have that loud, ripping sound as the tape is rolled out, it's smooth and quiet. The cutting edge has not failed once, it tears off easily and evenly.
The tape itself is, as all Scotch tape, excellent quality. It sticks and stays stuck. You know your boxes and packages will be securely closed when you use Scotch tape.
I highly recommend this product.

So Reliable and Now It's Quieter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy Scotch tape products because they are always frustration-free. This new quieter version of their shipping tape did not disappoint! Easy to start and really is quieter! It was nice to roll it out across my box and not have that loud "eh-eh" noise. Just as thick as the original one too.

Scotch's Awesome Shipping Tape Is Now Quiet Too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever been packaging up something to send to someone or even packing several boxes to ship and the loud, noisy sound coming from the tape dispenser was about to get on your last nerve? I know I have, and worse, I've even scared nearby family/friends because of the unexpected, loud, & obtrusive noise those packing tape dispensers make! Thanks to 3M's new Scotch Sure Start Packaging Tape, I no longer have to be concerned about that issue. In fact, I can do my packaging late at night and not have to worry about waking anyone up now! In addition to that, this tape starts and stops seamlessly without fraying or splitting! Not having to spend ten minutes trying to get the roll of tape back to an even rolling pattern when it splits/tears is wonderful! As busy as my schedule is a lot of days, it's so nice to have another tool/product that makes your life easier and more productive and the Scotch Sure Start Packaging Tape does just that and without compromising the excellent quality we already love with 3M Scotch Packaging Products! Needless to say, I'll definitely be stocking up on this new packing tape!!

Sure Start is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ship a lot of packages that weigh about 6lbs each. It is important to find a packing tape that will hold shut and stick to the box. This definitely sticks well and does not require that I add extra tape to secure my package. The Sure Start feature is wonderful too, because I hate wasting time picking at the end of tape. It really works and I think it's a great feature.
I received this product in exchange for my personal opinion as part of a review program from the manufacturer. My opinion is my own, however.

So quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far, this was the easiest and quietest packing tape I've ever used. Didn't have to search for the beginning of the tape to get the roll started. No annoying schreaching noises either. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.
