Was painting over a textured wall with two contrasting colors coming together. Used the frog tape and was amazed at the clean line that was left when I removed the tape. Have already recommended to several friends.
The product stated you can leave the tape on for up to 21 days, but it didn't tell you that in 3 days the edges would begin to pull up. Even having my wife next to me trying to press the tape back down as I painted was to no avail. Don't bother spending the extra money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear you had trouble getting the FrogTape to stick properly. Our consumer helpline is available to help at 1-877-376-4827 M-F 9-4 EST.
Painted the ceiling of a 16X44 room. After removing the tape the next afternoon (28 hrs) the tape had over 50 places the paint leaked through. Will take another 4 or five hours of work to fix this (Burgundy Ceiling Violate walls) and lots of coats to fix :-(. When painting a line that has to be perfect I guess there is no good product and using a straight edge is the only way. So the short of it is buy what is cheapest cause non of it will do what the TV say's!
It is a good tape for painting edges if adhered perfectly. You must also paint right away within a couple days. I would love to try the shapes tape, but the cost on it is even more expensive than the regular frog tape.
