I recently purchased two rolls of the green frog tape. I am trying to tape off a bathtub and tile surround the bathroom floor. Considering the price of the tape I tought that it would readily adhere to the surface. The edge of the tape will not adhere to the joint between the tub and the wall surface. Neither will it adhere to the surface of the tile edge on the wall. Seriously, I cleaned the surfaces. It adheres just fine around the door where there is wood, but will not stay on the surface around the tub where there is a silicone joint or the edge of the tile on the wall. This is very disappointing, and quite frankely frustrating, considering the cost of the product. I must have had unrealistic expectations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently did a kitchen pantry makeover, and I used Frog Tape to create straight lines on my pantry walls so I could paint vertical stripes. The Frog Tape worked perfectly on the painted pantry walls. The tape pulled off easily and my stripes came out perfect.
Before I repainted my sons' bathroom, I was skeptical about FrogTape, thinking "I'm sure it's good stuff, but it can't be that good!" I was wrong. FrogTape leaves crisper lines and comes off clean! I used five different colors, and the kids love their bathroom. The best part about using FrogTape? Peeling it off the wall to reveal the "magic"---an impressive paint job and satisfying experience that is sure to make me a FrogTape user from now on!
I decided to take the plunge and purchase the over priced Frog Tape for delicate surfaces. I was painting my sons room his favorite football team colors, one color on the the top half of the wall, another color on the bottom half and a stripe separating the two. I used the delicate surface tape because this was a project that needed to be completed in two weekends. I painted the main colors last weekend and they had all week to dry. Friday night I marked off the walls and started applying the Frog tape. Well, it kept falling off, even with FIRM pressure. I then tried using a putty knife, still fell off. I should have returned the tape at this point, but I tried one more time. I used a semi hard rubber roller and the tape seemed to stick. I ran my fingers over the edges several times to make sure they were down. It should be noted, the walls have a light orange peel finish, they do NOT have a heavy texture to them. After getting the room masked off, I took a break to eat dinner. I went back, ran the roller over the tape and my hands over edges again before painting. I painted my stripe in a matter of minutes. I noticed the tape wrinkling all around the room. I was done paint so I starting removing the tape. To my disappointment, the clean lines I expected to see were NOT there! Regular masking tape would have produced the same or better results. Save yourself the aggravation, do not buy this product, it does not work.
Was very impressed with ease of use and final outcome of project. Had never used before, only the "blue" tape, and always had problems with bleed under, and subsequent hours of touch up. Project had over 100 feet of tape, light tan to dark brown, with NO bleed under with very sharp edges all around. Virtually no touch up required after completion of project. I'm impressed!!
