There is nothing more important in any job than having complete confidence in the quality and predictability of the expected outcome. Frog Tape excels in both areas. It makes even an amateur DIY'er like myself look professional. I have used Frog Tape in a variety of painting projects, from the simple taping to protect adjacent finished surfaces, to the more complex defining of a two toned checkered pattern in a recent kitchen re-do. There are no regrettable surprises, just the satisfaction in seeing how professional it makes a non-professional like me look. The paint lines don't creep outside the taping area and the end product is a crisp, precise, and clearly defined finish.
I taped up my kitchen wall in order to do an "accent" - in several places the paint seeped under the tape and made an uneven edge. The tape was down securely and seemed to make a good seal, but it did not. Had no problem removing the tape, but had to re-do the painted edges that were uneven. Bought the higher priced Frog Tape to prevent this!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry about the paint bleed you experienced while using our FrogTape and we are available to help. Please contact our consumer helpline at 1-877-376-4827.
I run a small Occupational Therapy clinic where my therapist have to tape down trigger devices to the floors and walls. Your tape is the only one they will use.
The first time I used Frogtape, I was surprised how easy the tape went on and how well it stuck to the woodwork I was protecting. I had a much easier time taping my wood moldings, the tape stuck longer and tighter than anything else I have ever used and with way less leakage.
But Frogtape surprised me again! I taped around the cherry moldings in my bathroom six months ago. Due to a back injury I wasn't able to begin painting until this morning. The Frogtape stuck all this time! Several friends warned me with the tape being on so long, it might stick to the woodwork and not come off without scraping! That was a scary thought! So I checked it several times over the last 6 months and I could lift the tape off the wood and stick it right back on. Well tonight my bathroom walls are painted and dry and I just took off the Frogtape. Not only is there almost no touch up, the tape peeled off the woodwork so easily, I just had to write and tell you about it!
I used Frogtape for the first time in 2012. The ease of use and the incredibly clean lines left behind after removing Frogtape has never failed to amaze me. I am a painting perfectionist and "blue" tape and regular masking tape always ruined my paint job. I spend a lot of time prepping a room and I don't want to have my work ruined by inferior tape products. Frogtape is the BEST!!!
I used the multi-surface tape for around all my lights, sliding glass doors and all other entry ways on my patio when I painted the back patio wall. No paint got through the tape and it was easy to put on and take off. Will definitely use this tape again for painting.
I have to admit my first roll of Frogtape for delicate surfaces did not work out well. It pulled away from the surface. It is because of their great Customer Service that I will try another roll. I called to complain and the representative was so helpful that I think I might have just gotten a bad roll. They are sending me a refund which is great. I'm going to chalk this up to a fluke and just give another roll a try.
