I just love Frog Tape. It is one product that delivers on its promises. I have been doing my own painting since I was a young girl. That old, tan masking tape has caused me more frustration, wasted time, and more tears than I care to remember. It either didn't prevent bleed through at the edge or it pulled off other paint, varnish, patches in plaster or even the paper off the drywall. I avoided it whenever possible. Frog Tape on the other hand goes on easily, protects what it covers, and comes off like a dream. I've become very picky about painting over the years. The crisp, clean line Frog Tape gives me is my idea of painting perfection. Thank you Frog Tape.!!
My husband and I are renovating our house. I have the task of cutting in the wall to ceiling paint. Have never had great luck with blue tape so I decided to pay more and try Frog Tape. Both ceiling and wall are textured with light orange peel. First day I taped and painted with only mostly acceptable results. After visiting the website and learning how to use Frog Tape with textured walls I am TOTALLY happy. No bleeding at all but it is time consuming when doing a whole house. No touch ups either! The results are only as good as your line and taping process. One small problem I am intermittently having is the ceiling line paint and texture is lifting (in bubble form) when I remove the tape. I am painting the wall. Not sure what is causing this. All walls and ceilings have been cleaned and completely new texture applied. Two coats of primer and two coats of flat white paint on ceiling at least one week old. No construction in process to create dust. Am I pressing too hard on the tape?
After making game boards, I primed and applied two coats of latex. I waited three days for the paint to cure and then tried to use tape to outline edges in college colors. Paint would not adhere to the sides and on top would continuosly curl up. It was a rainy day with humidity near 100%, but I was in an enclosed garage with the temperature near 55 deg. F. I tried wiping the boards down with a dry towel but still no luck. Finally switched to blue painters tape and was able to get the job done. I was really hopeful that the Frogtape would make things easier but was sadly disappointed. Gordon
Poor product waste of money tried two different times neither time was useful. The product kept falling off and last half of the tape roll would not stick to anything, except it's self.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used other painter's tape in the past, and actually this frog tape bleed through more than the other tape did with my experience. Very disappointed.

Found working with this tape easier than conventional blue tape.
Storage container it came lacks quality. Lid does not stay on. Every unit I picked up across multiple stores, even in different widths, suffered this problem. Container cracks easily as well.
