[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this for several projects with similar poor result on each. First I never got a clean edge and paint bled through in random spots. Secondly, it pulled either the paint or stain that it was stuck on in every case. Because it pulled stain up I now have to redo the whole stair project I spent the last few days working on. Totally wasted my time and money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our sons’ old room need a paint job. Spent hours prepping walls; filling holes, removing Blue Fun Tak & other surface damage. Applied Frog Tape Multi-Surface Medium Adhesion to the moldings vs. painting edging freehand & to achieve CRISP lines. I paint... let paint dry... as I’m removing the Frog Tape it’s taking the paint OFF the moldings! Not the freshly painted walls BUT the surface I was using it to protect! SO disappointed! Now I have to repaint my moldings. More time, effort & expense thanks to Frog Tape! Ribbit! On the positive side no FRESH paint came off my walls as I removed the Frog Tape.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape to paint stripes on very rough barn siding paneling and was totally amazed with the results!!!! I can’t ask for sharper lines!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The simple fact is blue 3m tape does just as good a job for half the price the thing people should know is you have to burnish the tape as you have to do with frog tape they say it will not remove old finish wrong I have been a professional painter for over 30 years it failed me and other painters I know by removing paint from surfaces it was to protect even after just being on 24hours 3mblue is my recommendation but keep in mind burnish all tape edges and remove as soon as possible
BAD: Wow buy this it’s the best??? I have faux wood crown mounding it TOTALLY took the color off! NOW WHAT! Paid WAY more money and got screwed DO NOT use Of course there is no way to post a picture as I would!!! no way to fix without replacing the entire mounding so sad and mad I was duped and wasted money!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time we ever used any Frog Tape product and we are hooked! We used Frog Tape Multi-Surface product to tape around our entry door, glass, transoms, and siding to hopefully achieve professional results! We did! No paint on glass, straight lines between transoms and siding. We will continue to use Frog Tape for any future painting projects, and will recommend to our family and friends! If I could, I would include before and after pictures!
Masked off 4 solid red cedar doors by mid-day, painted then gently removed tape at 16:00. The tape came off pulling timber with it over the width of the tape by 1 mtr length. Tape removed cleanly on the first 3 doors. This will require specialist restoration work to get the damaged timber back to 'as new'. More than happy to provide photos if required.
"NOT HAPPY.."

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear the FrogTape pulled up bits of the wood. It sounds like there may have been something on the 4th door that affected the way the tape stuck. Preferably, the tape should not be applied to raw wood for this reason. We'd be happy to get more details and see the photos to understand better how this may have happened. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect tape for covering dark colors, you can prime, 2nd prime coat, paint, 2nd paint coat and still remove easily without use any tools. Always have on my tool bucket.
