painted decorative trim on a textured garage door. sharp lines , no bleed through. must press the edge lines to insure complete contact. great results. it was black trim on a white garage door. used multipurpose frog tape
Spent top dollar only to be disappointed by the poor quality. False advertising at its best. Do not purchase this tape!!! And judging by the many other bad reviews I'm going to venture to say that it's not poor quality paint or user error. This product simply does not live up to its name.
Paid extra over other brand expecting advertised results. Very disappointed with results. Will now have to spend extra hours painting over bleed through.
I have used frog tape for many years, it was always my go to for crisp clean lines. Not anymore, my last few projects have been completely ruined by paint bleeding under the tape no matter how hard I press it down. I will be switching brands.
This product has caused me nothing but frustration! It will not stick to the walls properly and the paint bleeds underneath it! I had to go buy a different product to finish painting. Will never buy again!
I normally purchase the blue painters tape when I’m painting but I read some reviews on the frog tape that it produces straight lines for corners where two different colors meet. Every review I read raves about how well frog tape adheres to surfaces and produces super straight lines, so I splurged and paid the extra money for frog tape. Well, I feel duped! I’ve gotten straighter lines with the regular blue painters tape. I thought maybe I just didn’t press it down well enough, but every time I’ve used it, it’s bled....bad! Now I have to go back and correct all the bleeds. I will never buy frog tape again. I recommend regular old blue painters tape. Save your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear and see the paint bleed you experienced. Textured surfaces can be very tricky. When cutting in, it is best to run a thin coat of your base color along the tape edge first. Doing so activates the PaintBlock, and any bleed through will be the same color as the base paint.
I bought this product when I was painting my daughters room. I was able to paint cleanly with no smudges!!! Legit works as advertised. Don’t doubt the frog !!!!
in a nutshell since reviewer app is not user friendly, some seepage, but Froggy pulled off too much paint when removing the tape, trying to upload pics, but app keeps knocking me out/off!!
