We recently painted our dining room and used FrogTape Multi Surface. It made our painting job come out clean and professional looking. Very happy with the results!
My home has rounded corners at the entry ways between rooms and creating a transition when two paint colors are used can be difficult. I used Multi Surface Frog Tape and created a clean transition line between the two areas. The finished product was just what I was looking for.
I've used masking tape for years to keep my watercolour paintings flat and stable while painting, and have switched brands many times trying to find a tape that won't allow seepage while not tearing the paper upon removal. Frogtape has done both for me beautifully, and I recommend it to my painting students. My only complaint would be that I would love a neutral (white, grey or beige) Frogtape because the green colour can be distracting and affect how I see colour in my paintings. Please make a neutral coloured Frogtape for artists and I'll be your most vocal ambassador!
I completed two DIY paint projects this week. On the first I had some of the "other guys" blue tape left and I masked off as usual. Also as usual I had the after tape touch up to perform which depending on the job, can be substantial. For the next project I gave Frog Tape a try. I am so glad I did. I masked the ceiling, baseboards, and door/window trim with Frog Tape. There were a total to two places where it bled and that was becuase of a bump or imperfection in the material taped NOT THE TAPE. I will use Frog Tape for all of my painting and masking projects from now on.
